Mets' Jeff McNeil placed on paternity list
The New York Mets placed infielder/outfielder Jeff McNeil on the paternity list Monday.
The Mets activated outfielder Travis Jankowski (hand) from the 10-day injured list Monday in a corresponding roster move. Jankowski is replacing McNeil in right field and hitting eighth in Monday's series opener against left-hander Max Fried and the Atlanta Braves. Luis Guillorme is starting on second base and batting sixth. McNeil will miss one-to-three days, per league policy.
numberFire’s models project Jank for 8.2 FanDuel points on Monday, and he has a $2,000 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets’ implied total (3.35) is the lowest in the majors on Monday.
