Chad Pinder absent from Athletics' lineup Wednesday afternoon
Oakland Athletics outfielder Chad Pinder is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Jameson Taillon and the New York Yankees.
Pinder is taking a seat after starting the last three games. Stephen Piscotty is moving to left field and Elvis Andrus is serving as the designated hitter. Nick Allen is starting at shortstop and hitting eighth while Tony Kemp returns to play second base and bat leadoff.
numberFire’s models project Piscotty for 7.4 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $2,000 salary. Kemp is projected for 8.2 FanDuel points and has a $2,400 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Athletics’ implied total (3.26) is lowest in the majors on Wednesday.
