Cardinals place Harrison Bader (foot) on 10-day IL
The St. Louis Cardinals placed outfielder Harrison Bader on the 10-day injured list Monday with plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
What It Means:
Bader had reportedly been playing through the injury since spring training, but he doesn't have immediate plans to undergo surgery. Lars Nootbaar is joining Dylan Carlson and Brendan Donovan in the Cardinals' outfield on Monday and he is hitting eighth versus Miami Marlins right-hander Pablo Lopez.
