Jonah Bride (undisclosed) not in Oakland's Monday lineup
The Oakland Athletics did not list Jonah Bride (undisclosed) in their lineup for Monday's game against the New York Yankees.
Bride exited Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals after colliding with Chad Pinder on a fly ball. While the team has not yet disclosed if Bride is injured, he did appear to take the brunt of the collision to the head/neck area, and should undergo further testing soon. Nick Allen will cover second base, while Elvis Andrus joins the lineup at shortstop.
Bride is batting .220 with a .517 OPS in his 44 plate appearances since getting called up to the majors.
