Jordan Lyles heading down to Rockies' Triple-A
Colorado Rockies pitcher Jordan Lyles has been optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Lyles was knocked around for five runs over 2 2/3 innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday, giving him a 7.64 ERA for the year. He'll try to get things back on track in the minors while Chris Rusin will take his place in the rotation Friday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In four starts and 17 2/3 innings on the season, Lyles has a 1-1 record, 1.87 WHIP and 10.47 strikeout percentage.
