Jorge Polanco riding pine again for Twins versus Tigers
Minnesota Twins infielder Jorge Polanco is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Rony Garcia and the Detroit Tigers.
What It Means:
Polanco was only out of the lineup once through the Twins' first 42 games, but this is now his second straight absence from the lineup. The Twins haven't mentioned any sort of injury, so they are presumably just giving him another day of rest. Nick Gordon is starting on second base Wednesday afternoon and hitting eighth.
