Willy Adames (ankle) out Monday for Milwaukee
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Willy Adames (ankle) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Ian Anderson and the Atlanta Braves.
Adames injured his ankle during Sunday's game and he could require a stint on the injured list, per Brewers manager Craig Counsell. Luis Urias is covering shortstop on Monday while Lorenzo Cain replaces Adames in the starting lineup. Cain is playing center field and batting ninth. Urias and Mike Brosseau figure to be the primary beneficiaries if Adames does land on the IL.
numberFire’s models project Urias for 10.4 FanDuel points on Monday, and he has a $3,200 salary.
