Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Roberto Perez is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of Wednesday's double-header against right-hander Michael Pineda and the Detroit Tigers.
What It Means:
Andrew Knapp is replacing Perez at catcher and hitting ninth. Perez started the previous two contests.
