Athletics' Coco Crisp not in Tuesday's lineup versus Yankees
Oakland Athletics center fielder Coco Crisp is not in Tuesday's lineup against the New York Yankees.
Crisp hasn't done much to take advantage of early playing time, batting just .167 (6-for-36) over 11 games. Billy Burns will start in center field and bat leadoff against Michael Pineda, while Chris Coghlan will play left. Khristopher Davis will serve as the designated hitter.
Crisp played in only 44 games last season and slashed just .175/.252/.222 with a .220 wOBA. Our models currently project the veteran to post a .271 wOBA with 6 home runs and 12 stolen bases across 460 plate appearances in 2016. Crisp will have trouble reaching these totals if he can't stay in the lineup.
