Justin Turner (neck) hitting fifth for Dodgers in NLCS Game 3
Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Justin Turner (neck) is in the starting lineup for Game 3 of the NLCS on Tuesday against right-hander Charlie Morton and the Atlanta Braves.
Turner was held out of the previous lineup due to a neck issue, though he did pinch-hit and reached on a hit-by-pitch. He is starting on third base and hitting fifth on Tuesday as the Dodgers try to work out of an 0-2 hole. Chris Taylor is shifting to left field in place of an idle A.J. Pollock.
numberFire's models project Turner to score 10.5 FanDuel points on Tuesday and he has a $2,900 salary. Morton recorded a 3.53 SIERA and 28.3% strikeout rate in the regular season, and he's spinning a 2.27 SIERA and 35.9% strikeout rate across 9 1/3 postseason innings.
