Andrew Vaughn on White Sox's bench against Astros
Chicago White Sox outfielder Andrew Vaughn is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of the ALDS on Thursday against right-hander Lance McCullers and the Houston Astros.
Vaughn made a start on first base for the White Sox in the final game of the regular season with Jose Abreu dealing with an illness. Abreu is back and playing designated hitter on Thursday, but Gavin Sheets is making the start on first base over Vaughn. Sheets is hitting seventh.
numberFire's models project Sheets for 7.6 FanDuel points in Game 1 and he has a $2,700 salary on Thursday's slate. McCullers registered a 27.0 strikeout percentage and an 11.1 walk percentage during the regular season.
