Cesar Hernandez on second base Friday for White Sox
Chicago White Sox infielder Cesar Hernandez is in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Wily Peralta and the Detroit Tigers.
Hernandez is returning to second base and the bottom of the order after being held out of the previous lineup. Leury Garcia is shifting to right field in place of an idle Adam Engel.
numberFire's models project Hernandez for 8.0 FanDuel points and he has a $2,700 salary on FanDuel for Friday's slate. Peralta is registering a 14.8 strikeout percentage this season that ranks in the bottom 4% of the league. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox have the fourth-highest implied total in the majors on Friday.
