Adam Engel absent from White Sox lineup Friday
Chicago White Sox outfielder Adam Engel is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Wily Peralta and the Detroit Tigers.

Engel returned from a leg injury last game and he went 0-for-3 as a starter. Leury Garcia is shifting to right field in place of Engel and Cesar Hernandez is starting on second base and batting ninth Friday.
