Ryan McKenna resting Thursday for Orioles
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Ryan McKenna is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Nick Pivetta and the Boston Red Sox.
The Orioles appear to be giving McKenna a maintenance day. Tyler Nevin is replacing McKenna in left field and hitting seventh.
Nevin has a $2,000 salary on Thursday and numberFire's models project him for 5.1 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the over/under in the Orioles-Red Sox game is a full run higher than any other total on Thursday. Pivetta is registering a 26.0 strikeout percentage with a 9.9 walk percentage this season.
