Adam Engel (leg) returning to White Sox's lineup Wednesday
Chicago White Sox outfielder Adam Engel (leg) is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against right-hander Sonny Gray and the Cincinnati Reds.
Engel was held out the previous five games due to leg discomfort, though he was available off the bench. He is returning to right field and hitting ninth Wednesday. Leury Garcia is shifting to second base in place of an idle Cesar Hernandez.
numberFire’s models project Engel for 10.0 FanDuel points and he has a $2,500 salary on Wednesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox have an implied total of 4.3 runs. Gray is registering an xwOBA that ranks in the top 15% of the league this season, with a 26.9 strikeout percentage and an 8.7 walk percentage.
