Jeff McNeil joining Mets' bench versus Marlins
New York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against right-hander Elieser Hernandez and the Miami Marlins.
McNeil started the second leg of Tuesday's doubleheader, but he's out of the lineup for the second time in three games Wednesday. Dominic Smith is replacing McNeil in left field and hitting seventh.
