Kevin Pillar riding pine Wednesday for Mets
New York Mets outfielder Kevin Pillar is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against right-hander Elieser Hernandez and the Miami Marlins.
Pillar is returning to the bench after he started both games in Tuesday's doubleheader. Michael Conforto is returning to the lineup to play right field and hit third. Javier Baez is moving from third to fifth in the order.
Conforto is currently numberFire’s second-best point-per-dollar value among confirmed hitters on Wednesday. He has a $2,300 salary and our models project him for 12.4 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets have an implied total of 4.2 runs. Hernandez is registering a 22.9 strikeout percentage and a 6.8 walk percentage this season.
