Willy Adames idle Wednesday for Milwaukee
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Willy Adames is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against right-hander Miles Mikolas and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Adames started in each of the last two games after returning from the injured list and he went 0-for-6 with a pair of strikeouts. Luis Urias is covering shortstop Wednesday while Eduardo Escobar moves to third base and bats second. Jace Peterson is on first base and Christian Yelich is returning to the lineup to handle left field and the cleanup role.
numberFire’s models project Urias for 9.2 FanDuel points and he has a $2,600 salary on Wednesday’s slate. Peterson is projected for 11.2 FanDuel points with a $2,000 salary, making him our second-best point-per-dollar value among batters. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Brewers have an implied total of 4.7 runs. Mikolas is registering a 15.3 strikeout percentage and a 7.3 walk percentage this season, with a 4.98 xERA and a .337 xwOBA.
