Alex Bregman on Astros' bench Tuesday night
Houston Astros infielder Alex Bregman is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against rookie left-hander Packy Naughton and the Los Angeles Angels.
The Astros appear to be giving Bregman a breather after he started the previous five games. Aledmys Diaz is replacing Bregman on third base and batting sixth. Yuli Gurriel is hitting second and Carlos Correa is cleaning up for Houston.
numberFire’s models project Diaz for 9.5 FanDuel points and he has a $2,100 salary on Tuesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Astros have an implied total of 5.5 runs. Through Naughton's first 16 2/3 innings in the majors, he is registering a 14.3 strikeout percentage and an 10.4 walk percentage, with a 4.47 xERA and a .321 xwOBA.
