Cody Bellinger on Dodgers' bench Monday
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Drew Smyly and the Atlanta Braves.
The left-handed hitting Bellinger is grabbing a seat versus the Braves' southpaw. Chris Taylor is shifting to center field in place of Bellinger and hitting seventh. Justin Turner is returning to the lineup to play third base and bat cleanup.
numberFire’s models project Taylor for 9.8 FanDuel points and he has a $3,600 salary on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Dodgers have an implied total of 5.3 runs, third highest on Monday's main slate. Smyly is registering a 21.8 strikeout percentage and an 8.0 walk percentage this season, with a 4.88 xERA and a .335 xwOBA.
