Paul DeJong sitting Thursday for St. Louis
St. Louis Cardinals infielder Paul DeJong is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Mitch Keller and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
DeJong is out of the lineup for the third time in the last five games. Edmundo Sosa is covering shortstop while Tommy Edman moves to second base. Lars Nootbaar is entering the lineup to play left field and hit sixth while Dylan Carlson slides over to right.
