Brewers' Rymer Liriano has multiple facial fractures
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Rymer Liriano sustained multiple facial fractures after being hit in the face by a pitch during Sunday's Cactus League game.
He will remain in the hospital for further tests and observation. The Brewers will continue to provide updates on his status as they become available. It appears to be a foregone conclusion Liriano will begin the season on the disabled list, and it's difficult to speculate on just how much time he stands to miss.
Liriano batted .292/.383/.460 with 14 homers and 18 steals at Triple-A last season.
