Brandon Nimmo (hamstring) back in Mets' lineup Monday
New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (hamstring) is back in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Jesus Luzardo and the Miami Marlins.
Nimmo was held out the last two games with a hamstring injury. He's back in center field and the leadoff spot for Monday's opener. Kevin Pillar is moving to right in place of Michael Conforto. Jeff McNeil is hitting third after leading off the last two contests in place of Nimmo. Dominic Smith is batting sixth after batting third last game.
numberFire’s models project Nimmo for 11.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,700 salary on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets have an implied total of 4.1 runs. Luzardo's wOBA (.388) ranks in the bottom three percent of the league this season.
