Reese McGuire on Blue Jays' bench Thursday
Toronto Blue Jays catcher Reese McGuire is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against left-hander Dallas Keuchel and the Chicago White Sox.
Riley Adams will catch Hyun-Jin Ryu and hit eighth. McGuire is 2-for-15 over his past five games. Adams and McGuire will continue to split work behind the plate while Danny Jansen (hamstring) is on the injured list.
numberFire’s models project Adams for 6.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Blue Jays have an implied total of 4.6 runs. Keuchel has the worst strikeout rate (12.0 percent) out of the 20 listed starters on Thursday's slate.
