Detroit's Eric Haase sitting Wednesday
Detroit Tigers catcher Eric Haase is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against right-hander Chris Flexen and the Seattle Mariners.
Haase will get a breather following four consecutive starts. He hit his eighth home run of the season on Tuesday and raised his OPS to 1.014. Jake Rogers will catch Casey Mize on Wednesday and hit eighth. Miguel Cabrera has been bumped down to the cleanup spot in place of Haase.
numberFire’s models project Rogers for 6.0 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers have an implied total of 4.8 runs. Flexen has both the second-lowest strikeout percentage (14.5) and fourth-best walk percentage (4.8) among Wednesday's listed starters.
