J.T. Realmuto (wrist) lands on Phillies' injured list
The Philadelphia Phillies will place catcher J.T. Realmuto on the 10-day injured list with a wrist injury.
The Phillies were hopeful Realmuto would be able to return for Friday's game against the Boston Red Sox, but that will not be the case. He hasn't played since last weekend and he will not be eligible to return until the end of next week. Andrew Knapp will catch right-hander Aaron Nola on Friday night and hit seventh versus left-hander Martin Perez and the Red Sox.
Realmuto is averaging 9.8 FanDuel points per game this season while slashing .294/.400/.486 with 4 homers and 17 RBI through 130 plate appearances.
