Andrelton Simmons (ankle) sidelined for Twins Thursday afternoon
Minnesota Twins shortstop Andrelton Simmons (ankle) is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Lance Lynn and the Chicago White Sox.
Simmons left Wednesday night's loss to the White Sox with right ankle inflammation and he is considered day-to-day. Jorge Polanco will move to shortstop Thursday and hit third. Luis Arraez will play second base and bat leadoff. Trevor Larnach will enter the lineup in left field and bat fifth.
numberFire’s models project Larnach for 9.6 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins have the fourth-lowest implied total (3.6 runs) out of the 24 teams playing Thursday.
