Adam Frazier not found in Pirates' lineup Wednesday
Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier will not start in Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Sonny Gray and the Cincinnati Reds.
Frazier appears to be getting the matinee off after slugging a two-run dinger in Tuesday night's win over the Reds. He also added a single and is now hitting .312/.385/.442 overall for the season. Wilmer Difo will cover second base and Ka'ai Tom will handle the leadoff role. Kevin Newman will bat second and Difo will bat sixth.
numberFire’s models project Difo for 7.5 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates have an implied total of 3.2 runs. Gray owns the third-highest strikeout rate (34.4 percent) among Wednesday's listed starters.
