Myles Straw sitting for Astros' Wednesday matinee
Houston Astros outfielder Myles Straw is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday afternoon against left-hander Austin Gomber and the Colorado Rockies.
Straw went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts on Tuesday and Astros manager Dusty Baker told reporters that the outfielder was feeling some side effects from his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Chas McCormick will make the start in center field and bat leadoff.
numberFire’s models project McCormick for 8.1 FanDuel points versus the Rockies and he has a salary of $3,000 on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Astros have the highest implied total (5.3 runs) among all teams playing Wednesday.
