Tommy Pham taking seat Thursday for Padres
San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Mitch Keller and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Pham appears to be getting a routine day off. Jurickson Profar will shift to left field and bat second. He will be followed by Jake Cronenworth, Manny Machado, Eric Hosmer, and Ha-Seong Kim in the 3-6 spots in the order. Tucupita Marcano will make his first major league start in right field and hit seventh. Wil Myers (knee) remains out of the Padres' starting lineup.
Marcano is currently considered a top-five value play among all hitters on Thursday's full slate. He has a salary of $2,000 and numberFire's models project him to score 10.5 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Padres have an implied total of 4.1 runs versus Keller and the Pirates.
