Josh Bell on Nationals' bench against Cardinals
Washington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Adam Wainwright and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Bell will yield first base work to Ryan Zimmerman and the cleanup spot to Kyle Schwarber. Zimmerman will hit third with Juan Soto ahead of him and Trea Turner in the leadoff spot. Victor Robles has been bumped to the bottom of the order.
numberFire’s models project Zimmerman for 8.0 FanDuel points versus the Cardinals and he has a salary of $2,400 on Wednesday. Schwarber ($3,200) is projected for 10.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Nationals have an implied total of 4.1 runs.
