White Sox put Billy Hamilton (hamstring) on IL
The Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Billy Hamilton on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain.
What It Means:
Hamilton injured his hamstring on Wednesday while stealing a base. The White Sox called up Nick Williams in a corresponding roster move. Williams will replace Hamilton in left field on Thursday versus the Kansas City Royals and bat seventh.
