Eloy Jimenez (foot) sitting for White Sox in Game 1
Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (foot) is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday for Game 1 of the Wild Card Round versus left-hander Jesus Luzardo and the Oakland Athletics.
Jimenez said Monday that he was feeling "much better" after suffering a mid-foot sprain last Thursday, so he may be able to contribute off the bench. Yasmani Grandal will serve as the designated hitter and James McCann will catch Lucas Giolito. The White Sox's full lineup for Game 1: Tim Anderson SS, Yoan Moncada 3B, Grandal DH, Jose Abreu 1B, McCann C, Luis Robert CF, Engel RF, Garcia LF, Nick Madrigal 2B.
numberFire's models expect Grandal to score 11.7 FanDuel points on Tuesday with a salary of $2,900. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox currently have an implied total of 3.9 runs and the over/under for the game is 7.5 runs.
