Eloy Jimenez (foot) works out with White Sox
Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (foot) went through an on-field workout on Monday.
Jimenez hasn't played since suffering a mid-foot sprain last Thursday. “So far, so good," White Sox manager Rick Renteria said in regards to Jimenez being able to play in Tuesday's Wild Card Series opener against the Oakland Athletics.
Jimenez averaged 11.4 FanDuel points per game and slashed .296/.332/.559 with 14 home runs and 41 RBI over 226 plate appearances this season.
