Franchy Cordero (wrist) active, starting for Royals on Wednesday
The Kansas City Royals activated outfielder Franchy Cordero from the 60-day injured list.
Cordero required a procedure on his right hamate bone. He will replace Bubba Starling (back spasms, 10-day IL) in center field and hit eighth. Cordero is 4-for-26 in 11 games with the Royals this season.
