Joe Odom catching for Mariners Sunday
The Seattle Mariners listed Joe Odom as their starting catcher for Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres.
What It Means:
Odom will give Luis Torrens a breather Sunday, starting behind the plate and bat last in the rotation.
Odom has not been strong at the plate in his rookie season. In 33 plate appearances he is batting just .100.
