Jonathan Villar sitting for Blue Jays Sunday
Jonathan Villar is not listed in the Toronto Blue Jays' lineup for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Villar will take a seat Sunday while Jonathan Davis starts in center field and bats eighth. Randal Grichuk will become the team's designated hitter, while Teoscar Hernandez moves to right field and Cavan Biggio plays second base.
The veteran is having yet another solid season in 2020. Over 185 plate appearances, Villar has hit 2 home runs and stolen 12 bases while posting a .241 batting average.
