Eduardo Escobar sitting Sunday for Diamondbacks
The Arizona Diamondbacks did not list Eduardo Escobar in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
What It Means:
Escobar will catch a breather Sunday, while Kole Calhoun re-enters the lineup in right field and bats cleanup. Pavin Smith will play first base and Christian Walker starts as the team's designated hitter.
The 31-year-old is having a decent season in 2020. Over 181 plate appearances he's notched 4 home runs and is batting .204.
