Mike Ford sitting for Yankees Monday
Mike Ford is not listed in the New York Yankees' lineup for Monday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
What It Means:
Ford will take a seat Monday while Luke Voit moves back to first base. Miguel Andujar will play designated hitter, DJ LeMahieu will play third base, and Thairo Estrada will come off the bench to play second base and bat ninth
Ford had a big game back in the middle of August, but has been slumping since then. The sophomore is batting just .141 over his 80 plate appearances this season.
