Once a mainstay on top 100 prospect lists, Biddle had Tommy John surgery back in October and was designated for assignment last week. The 24-year-old will miss the entire 2015 season, but Pittsburgh is known for revitalizing pitchers. This is as good of a landing spot as Biddle could have hoped for.

Biddle started 24 games across two minor league levels in the Phillies organization in 2015, throwing 125 1/3 innings with a 4.95 ERA. He also put up a 6.39 strikeouts-per-nine rate and 4.38 walks-per-nine rate.
