New York Mets starting pitcher David Peterson is making his MLB debut on Tuesday versus the Boston Red Sox.

Peterson is filling in for Marcus Stroman (calf) in the Mets' rotation. The 24-year-old left-hander had a 4.19 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 122 strikeouts and 37 walks over 116 innings at the Triple-A level last season.
