Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back) played catch and participated in infield drills during Saturday's workout.
What It Means:
After missing two scrimmages with lower back tightness, Rizzo displayed improved health by participating in parts of Saturday's workout. Expect the Cubs to be cautious with their star first baseman and David Bote to fill in if Rizzo were to miss any time.
According to FanDuel's Sportsbook, Rizzo is currently priced at +5000 or an implied 1.96% to win the National League MVP Award.
