Rangers' Joey Gallo (COVID-19) cleared to work out
Texas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo (COVID-19) participated in Friday's workout after receiving full clearance to return.
Gallo joined his teammates for Friday's workout after submitting two negative results for COVID-19 in a 24-hour time period. The Rangers' slugger should be on track for his season opener against the Colorado Rockies on July 24th.
For the upcoming 60-game season, Gallo's projection includes a .230 batting average with 17 home runs and 34 RBI. According to FanDuel's Sportsbook, Gallo is currently priced at +1100 or an implied 8.3% to hit the most home runs this year.
