Tigers report multiple positive COVID-19 tests
Detroit Tigers general manager Al Avila announced on Wednesday that individuals in the organization have tested positive for COVID-19, but did not release any names.
Avila stated that individuals who tested positive were isolated, retested, and some have passed the protocols to permit them to resume baseball activities. He also mentioned that those who are still positive are being closely monitored by the Tigers' medical staff and that he hopes to have them back on the field soon. The Tigers held their first summer workout at Comerica Park on Friday.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Tigers are tied for the worst odds (+30000) to win the 2020 World Series.
