Rafael Devers joining Red Sox on Wednesday
Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers will work out at Fenway Park on Wednesday.
Devers had been working out at another location as a precaution after potentially being exposed to the virus by other players. He's tested negative three times. Devers took a huge leap forward last season as the Red Sox everyday third baseman. The 23-year-old turned in a .311 batting average and .916 OPS while hitting 32 homers, 54 doubles, 115 RBI, and 129 runs scored over 702 plate appearances.
numberFire's models project Devers to record a .299 batting average and .872 OPS with 11 home runs, 36 RBI, and 39 runs scored in 231 plate appearances this season.
