Phillies confirm Scott Kingery (COVID-19) tested positive
Philadelphia Phillies utility-man Scott Kingery revealed on Tuesday he contracted COVID-19 about a month ago.
Kingery will remain in quarantine currently but appears closer to returning after passing the first of two negative results required for protocol. Expect the 26-year old to ultimately undergo additional testing when he lands in Philadelphia before he is cleared.
For the upcoming 60-game season, Kingery's yearly projection includes a .244 batting average with 7 home runs and 21 RBI in 180 total at-bats.
