Twins' Mitch Garver expects to start 45-50 games this season
Minnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver said he would ideally like to start in 45-50 games of the shortened 60-game season.
What It Means:
'It would be a nice number to get to,' he said, and continued that he would like to be able to contribute in any way he can, but that he has yet to discuss this with the Twins' coaching staff.
Garver had an elite 0.995 OPS in 93 games last year on his way to a Silver Slugger-winning season. numberFire currently projects the catcher to bat 0.258 with 7 home runs, 21 runs, and 22 RBI in a shortened 2020 season.
