Chaz Roe joins Rays Monday
Tampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Chaz Roe joined the team's workouts on Monday.
Roe was mysteriously not present for the team's first set of workouts over the weekend, but he is with the team now. We may not get an official explanation, but Florida is currently a global hotspot for COVID-19 with almost 67,000 cases reported in the last seven days, so it's understandable that some players will have reservations about playing in the state.
numberFire currently projects Roe for a 4.02 ERA with 22 strikeouts, 9 walks, and 2 home runs allowed in 17.9 innings in 2020.
