Yankees' Luis Cessa tests positive for COVID-19
New York Yankees relief pitcher Luis Cessa has tested positive for COVID-19.
Cessa is reportedly suffering mild symptoms from the virus and is isolating at home. He will need to be able to test negatively multiple times before he can be permitted to join his team.
Cessa is expected to maintain his middle reliever role when he is healthy enough to do so. numberFire projects him to pitch for a 4.80 ERA with 23 strikeouts, 9 walks and 4 home runs allowed.
