Heyman: 'Early July remains MLB's target' for 2020 regular season
According to Jon Heyman, Major League Baseball is still targeting early July as their 2020 regular season start date.
Major League Baseball remains interested in a July start period despite several obstacles including a concrete location plan for potential play, overall roster construction with the minor league season unlikely to occur, and the length of the regular season.
Expect a spring training around three to five weeks before any regular games are tentatively scheduled or set.
